Here's a good way to eliminate a "pond" on a flat roof

Gman

Hello Everyone - My company, *******., has developed a super-lightweight product we named "****" ***** is a dry, powdery mix to which water is added to form a slurry.  It's ideal for filling in ponding areas on flat roofs.  Seriously.  If the roof is simply sagged to the point that it collects water, but it's still structurally sound (and not leaking), simply fill in the pond with*****.  A few folks added the dry ****** mix with the water that was already standing in the puddle and mixed it with a hoe.  Then they just screeded off the top with a board.  ***** dries enough to be walked on in about 24 - 48 hours.  Full cure takes several weeks (just like cement) . If the roof is leaking too, then obviously you're going to have to tear into it.  We also produce ******* waterproofing.  Please visit our website at  ********

This little blurb is just to let people know that sometimes there really IS a different way of doing things.

Dear GMan:

I have edited your topic instead of deleting it.  This is not the place to advertise your product.  This is a place that roofers can communicate with each other without the fear of being bombarded with people selling things.  If you can contribute something helpful and or you are a RoofersCoffeeShop.com advertiser and your product or service fits into a situation we MAY allow you to mention your business.  No blatant advertising your product lines in the forum unless you have obtained verbal or written consent from RoofersCoffeeShop.com.

Thank you.
