fall protection new rules for new construction

what a pain this will be on dry-ins and running eave drip. been shingling for 35 years never used fall protection. do we have to be tied off at all times or just when we are near the edge. probably need to raise prices but dont try that in this economy.appreciate any feedback. Thanks :( :angry:

OK. Sounded like you were really lost! :laugh: It's no biggie, just double your prices, or add a line item for each attachment point, and cost of if they'll be permanant points. Figure 30 minutes extra for what would normally be an hour.

"fall protection new rules for new construction" I see you're not with it at all. Who told you 'new' construction????? The rules are for any residential roofing same as commercial roofing. Don't forget the goggles, hard hats below the eaves, etc. you are required to have on too.
