Hey folks..

Do exposed fastener installers notice more failures on wooden structures than steel? And is that because the steel structures are expanding and contracting at the same rate as the roofing, minimizing hole elongation and screw loosening?

Thanks

The fasteners definetely work better on steel structures than wooden ones.I rarely find loose or stripped fasteners on steel purlins.
