How much a square is insurance allowing roofers to make these days?
Yes, Bucks, (12/20's) except for the odd Vermont Grey somebody used. Probably no headlap there either.
When I get days like this, I just think of quitting, and maybe even taking a dive to boot! :woohoo:  I seldom get what is known as a slate repair any more. It's this crap over and over again.
Old School Said: Tinner, quit it. You are going to have all of the guys trying to do slate!
I believe your'e rigth OS!
BTW, I got on one today expecting to do the valleys and minor repairs. It's 30' up, 12/12 so I never did a full inspection, btw.
I start looking at a place where a slate slid out. It looks like I'll be re-repairing agin.   No headlap, and worse. Here's an example.
Here's '0' headlap.
I don't know what this is.
And I think this last pic is going to take some investigation.
Let's see. 200 slate repalced. About $xxx. 312 to a sq. so around $xxx. per sq. :)
