(As if we really need any others than China)....Anyhow,....

Purchased a couple of items at a Walmart. As I was exiting the store, a spanish-speaking women was possibly asking if i had a receipt, (i.e.,"reeceet-reeceet?"). I said yes I did & proceeded out the doors. I was then accosted outside in the crosswalk by another alleged employee. Again, by a non-English speaker; "Rahceet? Rhaceet?...I again said yes i did....He grabbed my arms...I managed to wrestle free without injurying him....He then snatched a tv out of my basket & ran into the store with it. I called the cops in order to retrieve my property....I instructed the officer that i wanted to file charges for assault & robbery...The officer refused.....I was physically assaulted, unlawfully contrained/detained, strong-arm robbed and defamed in public....I'm searching for the appropriate law firm. It's winter, work is slow, so i have the time.

I've been trying to stay away from wally world for several years now. My wife goes there and buys food with the wallmart label and I won't eat it. Most of there products are made in China and I feel a lot of their food is also made overseas.

As far as sueing wallmart for your treatment it may be tough. I bet what happened to you happens to people everyday who buy products from the store only to be bothered by store personal.

What wallmart you shopping at? Mexico...

Self-righteous!!!! A simple you are right I made a mistake was all you had to say. But because you have no answer for your behavior the discussion is over? You must be a left wing liberal who is always right but never has the right answer your way or no way.(expecting some flak for bad mouthing liberals because I'm so self righteous.) ;) We all make mistakes admitting thems the hard part. So you have been sued so sue someone else. Growing up my dad taught me there is honor between men we stand up for what we believe in and always live by our word. Since I started my roofing co. 7 years ago I've learned that's been stripped away and thrown in the dumpster. Most wealthy men are sharks looking to cheat, lie, and steal there way to riches. You call me self-righteous is that what being honest is these days. There are times to fight wal-mart employees is not one of them.

Tim I do still have the bronco still dumping money into it just put in a new tranny shifts hard now, getting ready to install new 4.27 gears and new Detroit locker in rear with 31 spline axle's post some pics of that TJ.

WM is private property, open to the public, (WM aggressively entices the public to 'shop' there)....U.S contitutional rights have no premise.

Your attemps to twist/spin this for your own entertainment have already exhausted my interest in any further discusions. on the topic.

It is what it is. We can agree to dissagree.

BTW; I feel a bit ashamed that I "shopped" at Walmart at all. Shame on me, in the 1st place!

BTW2; It is MY choice to shop at a store that requires multiple "receipt" checks. I do at Costco & Sams only.

In retro-specht, if that should ever happen again, rather than call for the police, I may decide to take whatever means neccessary to subdue the assailant & retrieve my property...After whiich I may phone for the police. ;)

My O' my! Are we self-rightous or what? And to think, some of you may be so against state contractor licening! Here is a clear & undeniable case of 'abuse', (for lack of other words). Technically; Assault & robbery/theft. Most argue only gov't employees are liable for constitutional rights issues. Otherwise this would be a tremendous case.

Here's how it works; When money is exchanged for goods, the goods are yours. Period. Producing any 'receipts' or the likes are strictly voluntary. It's different if one is engaged in some specific purchasing agreement, such as with Costco or Sams.

A "receipt" is not relevant, as the accuser must have reasonable proof of theft/larceny.....In this case that was impossible, as I purchased the items. What if I had no receipt? Would that entitle someone else to just HAVE my things?.....What does a receipt prove? I could've found the receipt in the parking lot, stole it from someone who just purchased something, found it in the store, etc....Your names' not on it! The only correlation that could possibly be made, is with a CC purchase! And then, credit card #'s would have to be verified. etc....

As an American I am free to the pursuit of happiness....Yes, 98% of people confronted with that insane sob would have simply submitted and probably done just about anything requested of them. Me, I don't take kindly to being accused of being a thief,...I don't like it when a stranger puts his hands on me...I especially don't like my rights as an American trampled on and my property forcably taken from me. That's just me.

As for "sue happy"; I've lost probebly a couple hundred grand over the years to frivolous lawsuits/litigations.....I don't particularly get excited about litigation...I just take the lumps to distance myself from the situation as quickly as possibly and try to pick better customers in the future. Get on down the road.

As for WM 'policy'...Both involved employees were way out of bounds. WM is sued a couple of times every day! There is HUGE exsposure for lawsuits arriving out of falsly accusing people of larceny/shoplifting.

Everyday, I have to be responsible for my business...Walmart should be in charge of theirs! If they're that worried about shoplifing, then put the check-out at the door, &/or require ALL receipts checked at the door, search your car as you leave the parking lot, whatever....

WOW!!! So lets get this clear. You want to sue wal-mart because an employee did something wrong that he thought was right? You could have shown him the receipt and then went home and cried about it, but no! The world has become a sue crazy place. Everybody wants something for nothing. this guy didn't defame you. You defamed yourself had you shown your receipt you would have had no problem but instead you took the I'm above you approach. What has happened to the men in this world? There are times in our lives that define us. Maybe this guy was having a bad day. You were not injured or even defamed. What the other people at wal-mart are not going to look at you the same now. I don't mean to sound like an ass but I am tired of all this politically correct crap. As for what Tim said if you get grabbed by someone defend yourself against the man harming you not the company employing him.
