All GAF Shingles Now come with a LIFETIME Warranty !

What are your guys thoughts on this. Even the 30 yr. shingles now have a lifetime warranty.

Three Tabs do not come with a LifeTime Warranty .... Gotta wonder what the Homeowner will expect on Workmanship or will they compute LifeTime Warranty means everything, including workmanship ...

The Warranty should be an interesting read, which I have not done yet but gotta think there will be exclusions and how much will it pay in year #49 or 52 - same as in year #3????

Marketing - lots of homeowners look at price and guarantee, guess LifeTime is about the top end .....

Update/: GAF LifteTime is 50 Years ... and the replacement is prorated after the first five years and only available on residential - not commercial buildings ....

I think it's a great marketing ploy. Are the other manuf. going to follow suit?
