A Really Good Friend Of Mine Fell Off A Roof

Accidents can happen to anyone, even you experienced old men!

Please let this be a reminder to you this week and take a second look before you step or climb. Broken, pelvis, ribs and legs. I didn't want to pry about the prognosis but I am praying for him.

Ironically his staff posted a promo picture of him standing on a roof on their social media recently and I commented "Leave getting on a roof to a professional", that walking on a roof is dangerous and you should leave that to the licensed contractor, (which he is).

I told him about Lefty's new drone and he just might be getting one!

Two days ago a professional was killed trimming a tree when a different one uprooted randomly few miles from me.

Sorry to hear this about your friend. I've heard the same thing many times. It's usually a non-roofer type or a young guy but like you say it could happen to anyone even though it's nowhere near as likely with an experienced roofer who knows all the safety measures and actually uses them "each and every time".
