Tile roofing

Peak Performance Roofing specializes in tile tear-offs. With most tile roofing being so heavy and cumbersome, it’s easy for things to go wrong when re-roofing a tile roof. Safety for people and surrounding objects is a huge factor to consider, as well as the safety of the buildings siding and windows. Our tile roofing crew has a specific, methodical process to safely tear off all tile roofs, whether it be on a single family home or a multistory apartment complex.

Tile roofing made a big entrance into the PNW roofing scene back in the 80’s and 90’s, however tile is best suited for dry, arid climates and is not designed to handle our heavy rainfalls or our moisture rich environment. Tile roofing can also be very heavy, which puts unnecessary stress on a buildings core framing over time.  Furthermore, tile has become harder to source, making repairs challenging.
