National Frame Building Association (NFBA)

NFBA is a non-profit trade association that promotes the interests of the post-frame construction industry and its members.

The association’s members are primarily post-frame builders, suppliers, manufacturers, building material dealers, code and design professionals, and structural engineers.

NFBA is the only national trade association that represents post-frame industry professionals. The association exists to support its members and stimulate the growth of the post-frame industry.

To do so, the association helps its members by providing industry tools and code resources, education, access to technical and legal experts, builder accreditation programs, newsletters and post-frame market development updates, and networking opportunities. NFBA member companies provide services or materials to a variety of building types including agricultural (equestrian stables, barns), commercial (retail stores, strip malls), industrial (warehouses, storage facilities), public (firehouses, medical clinics), institutional (schools, churches), residential and remodeling projects. There are approximately 800 NFBA member companies across the country. They meet annually at the Frame Building Expo to network, learn and exchange information. NFBA unifies all members in the spirit of community. NFBA supports its members’ businesses by listing their company description and contact information on NFBA.org’s “Find A Provider" search tool for prospective clients.

It will make rounds from the Hilton to the Taproom from 3:45 pm to 7:45 pm. Look for the magnet to with out logo on it on the shuttle to identify it!

What: We will be having hors d'oeuvres and an open bar.
Emily Marshall, Mrs. Postframe, will be our emcee for the evening.  We have some activities planned and we would like to include a group discussion at the event to get feedback from the attendees on what they would like to see from the group.  We are also putting together giveaway bags for attendees and Emily is bringing a gift basket to raffle off.  We are doing 100 giveaway bags.  If you have anything that you would like to donate to the bags, just let me know and I can work with you to figure out how to get the items from you.  (Company logo items are ok to donate.)  Also, we have been informed that our Keynote, Anne Beiler of Auntie Anne's Pretzels, is planning to attend the event as well!  It should be a very fun event.

The educational session

When: Thursday, March 7th from 8:00 -10:10 am
Where: Rooms 318-320 of the Iowa Events Center.

Dr. Renee Covell is our speaker and she will be taking us through the Social Styles Program. This session is open to everyone, not just the ladies, so encourage anyone from your team to attend. The first 50 attendees will receive a self-assessment survey to determine their Social Styles. This survey is valued at $1500, so it is a great takeaway for those who participate.
