Contractor's Association of Minnesota (CAM)
The Contractors Association of Minnesota (CAM) was formed in 2009 by a group of concerned construction trade partners responding to proposed legislation by the insurance industry that was harmful to contractors working on storm-related events. It was at that time the CAM realized it was important to have a voice at the Capitol and a lobbyist was hired to represent our interests. Since then, we have become the fastest growing association of exterior specialists in the country. CAM is a continually evolving group of professional contractors, distributors and manufacturers who want to encourage positive change for the future of our industry.
CAM’s mission is to help our members excel in the Minnesota specialized residential construction industry. Through legislation and regulation, we provide members with an industry voice at the State Capitol and its regulatory agencies. CAM also partners up with like-minded associations to protect your interests.

When a Minnesota veteran needed a new roof, he never asked for help. But our community stepped up and said yes.
In partnership with DAV of Minnesota, Grand Exteriors, CertainTeed and ABC Supply, CAM proudly helped provide a safe, reliable roof for someone who’s given so much to our country. This project is a powerful reminder of what can happen when contractors, suppliers and local organizations come together with one purpose: supporting those who’ve served.

CAM Gala 2026
CAM is moving forward with our robust lobbying effort-in direct response to the Insurance Federation continuing to assault our industry and our homeowners. We have to budget increased expenditures to continue the good fight! This years Gala is a “Back to the 50’s” theme with music, entertainment, games, LIVE Auction & more! It is not only for a good cause, but its a can’t miss event!
