As the market continues to transform the way sustainable buildings are designed, single-skin metal roof and siding products are at the forefront of contributing to healthier built environments. This course breaks down the material inputs and green performance attributes of single-skin metal roof and siding panels and identifies how metal panels can contribute to projects being designed and built to LEED standards and certification.

Instructor: Marie Ortega
Marie Ortega has been part of the AEP Span Marketing Team for over nine years. As Product Manager, she is responsible for the product roadmap, ensures the product portfolio meets market needs and leads product initiatives throughout all product life cycle stages. Moreover, Marie's responsibilities expanded to include sustainability. She plays a leadership role in developing and implementing a product sustainability strategy and works closely with the Sales Team and Customers as the subject matter expert on how AEP Span products may contribute toward projects designed and built to meet green standards or certification.
Marie is a LEED Green Associate and holds an MBA from Claremont Graduate University.
