BITEC introduces Imperflex SA2 Base Sheet
BITEC® Imperflex SA2 Base Sheet is a smooth surfaced rubberized asphalt base sheet. It acts as an interply, intended specifically for use in Imperflex roof systems. This versatile product can withstand high temperatures (250°F / 121.1°C) and can also be used as an underlayment under asphalt shingles, metal or tile roofing, and for waterproofing below grade foundations, footings, and basements. Imperflex SA2 Base is a 2 sq (200 ft2) roll and is reinforced with a high strength fiberglass mat. The membrane is protected on the bottom by a split protective release liner. This design ensures ease of removal during installation. It also prevents the roll from sticking during storage.
