RISE Your Career with the WTI Apprenticeship Program

WTI RLW
November 27, 2019 at 6:00 a.m.

Learn about one of the few accredited apprenticeship programs available that also lets you earn college credits while getting paid.

Join Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc (WTI) on December 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. ET for this webinar that will provide details on the WTI Apprenticeship Program. The program is an accredited, non-union affiliated, US Department of Labor sanctioned program that is registered under WTI, a subsidiary of Tremco.

There are only a few programs, if any, of this kind currently existing in the roofing industry.  The program is open to everyone and once accepted, apprentices can earn an Apprentice Completion Certificate (journey-level recognition) upon completion of the program with periodic hourly rate increases throughout.  They can also earn 17 credit hours toward an Associate of Science degree, or toward a degree-seeking, construction-focused track.  It includes 4,000 hours (divided into four phases) of on-the-job training work instruction and 392 hours of online and classroom instruction.

WTI program leaders Maleah M. Evans and Richard L. Mosholder will share how the program is working and how they see this type of program helping the roofing industry overall. The presentation will examine the labor issues facing the industry and the difference that a program providing mentorship and onboarding along with training can help to solve the problem.

WTI makes it easy by providing the training, verifying on-the-job training hours, and sending all necessary paperwork to the U.S. Department of Labor to process the Apprentice Completion Certificate. No experience is needed to start working toward your lucrative career in the roofing industry.

Register for the webinar today.
