SRS Expands its Presence in Chicago Through the Acquisition of Acorn Roofing Supply, Prairie State Exterior Products and 55 B

The acquisition of these distributors will expand the existing footprint of SRS Distribution Inc. in the market.

SRS Distribution Inc. (“SRS”) announced today that it has acquired Acorn Roofing Supply, Prairie State Exterior Products and 55 Building Supply (collectively the “Company”), distributors of residential and commercial roofing, siding and other related products.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the Company was founded in 1984 by Richard Sawilchik and is run today by Bryan Sawilchik and Ross Ridder. The Company operates a network of three locations in the greater Chicago area, each under a unique brand name and currently employs a team of 34 employees. Bryan and Ross will continue to lead the Company’s dedicated employee base under their existing brands, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers and employees.
