RoofersCoffeeShop®, the award-winning place where the industry meets for technology, information and everyday business, continues to offer podcasts for ongoing education and industry information. Continuing from Season 1, Season 2 will continue to bring podcasts to the roofing industry, RoofersCoffeeShop podcasts highlight interviews with roofing professionals and much more. There are five different podcast categories to choose from: Stories from the Roof, Roofing Road Trips with Heidi, The Heidi and Vickie Show, RLW Podcasts, and Partner Podcasts.
“Podcasts have become a popular media form to consume information, learn new things, and stay up-to-date on industry trends,” stated Vickie Sharples, RCS Partner. “Podcasts are engaging, easy to listen to and mobile. All roofing professionals can listen in their cars while they commute to jobs or back and forth from work. They can also listen from their phones anywhere and on their computers in the office or at home.”
Offering five different podcast platforms, these podcasts can be found at RoofersCoffeeShop® podcast and on all podcast streaming channels.
Stories from the Roof - Listen to how roofers got introduced to the roofing industry, what they’ve learned along the way, and advice they have for current roofers or those just getting started in the trade.
Roofing Road Trips with Heidi - On this podcast, Heidi talks about her adventures traveling across the country to different shows and for other RCS-related events. Along the way she meets and talks with different roofing professionals about the work they do and the current state of the industry.
The Heidi and Vickie Show - Heidi and Vickie, the partners of the RoofersCoffeeShop, talk about the industry. They approach subjects from different points of view, educating each other, and listeners, on various topics. The most recent podcast focused on valuing young people in the workforce. With more than 30 years of experience in the roofing industry, these two have a lot of knowledge to share.
RLW Podcasts - RLW stands for Read, Listen, Watch. The podcast is the “Listen” portion of an RLW. Roofers shared they want to consume content the way they want and when they want, whether that’s reading at night before bed, listening in their car on the way to work, or watching videos with their morning coffee. RCS responded with Read, Listen, Watch, so roofers can consume information whichever way it’s convenient for them. Topics range from helping homeowners through insurance claims, how to use excel, scholarship programs available, and new technologies available, among others.
Partner Podcasts - RCS has many great partners, and this is where you can learn more from them. They share installation tips, business practices, how to generate leads, the importance of marketing, waterproofing tips, and more.
While there are hundreds of thousands of podcast options for people to choose, RCS caters its podcasts to roofers and the roofing industry. Podcasts are convenient to listen to, a great conversation starter, and an easy way to learn new things about the roofing industry.
