Pennsylvania-based global supplier of insulation vapor retarders and facings becomes a member of North American polyiso insulation trade association.

The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA) is pleased to announce the approval of Lamtec Corporation as an associate member. Lamtec is a global supplier of insulation vapor retarders and facings to leading manufacturers, laminators and fabricators of various insulation products, including foam board insulation like polyiso. Through this partnership, PIMA and Lamtec are positioned to further advance the polyiso and building construction industries.

“Lamtec is very excited to join PIMA and be given this opportunity to further collaborate and support our customers in this strategic product category,” Norman Parker, executive vice president of Lamtec Corporation, said.

For over 45 years, Lamtec has designed and manufactured top-quality laminated insulation facings and vapor retarders. The global supplier offers its products as well as comprehensive technical support and leading customer service. Lamtec’s products are engineered to protect insulation from physical damage and moisture. In particular, their facings are designed with proprietary flame-retardant chemistry to help insulation meet stringent fire codes and standards. Located on a 45-acre site in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Lamtec's 260,000-square-foot facility is conveniently situated near major North-South and East-West interstate highways as well as all New York metropolitan area ports.

“As an association of polyiso manufacturers, suppliers and businesses committed to improving the quality and performance of our buildings, we recognize the value of collaboration in achieving our shared goals. Lamtec joining PIMA reinforces our position as the voice for the North American polyiso industry,” PIMA President, Justin Koscher said. “The partnerships with our Associate members and our collective knowledge enable us to better illustrate the proven value of polyiso, encourage its adoption and drive advancements in the building construction industry. This joint effort also aims to bolster PIMA’s commitment to continue advocating for code-compliant and more energy-efficient envelopes, shaping the future of our built environment.”
