Owens Corning delivers “More Than Just a Roof®” at 2026 International Roofing Expo
January 21, 2026 at 10:00 p.m.

Owens Corning is proud to showcase their full contractor offering, providing long-lasting, beautiful roofs and the resources and partnership that contractors need to grow their businesses.

Owens Corning is spotlighting color and design, the power of a high-performing roofing system and educational solutions to help contractors grow their businesses during the International Roofing Expo (IRE), January 20-22 in Las Vegas. Visitors to IRE Booth #2521 can discover the many ways that Owens Corning is delivering “More Than Just a Roof®.”

Leading with color

Owens Corning continues to be a leader in the color conversation, with its 2026 Shingle Color of the Year, Evergreen Mist. This new Duration® Designer shingle color offers a unique twist on the color green, which is a growing trend in fashion, appliances and paint with blended soft greens, subtle blues and earthy neutrals. Two additional colors, Mountain Pine and Gray Tweed, are also new to the Owens Corning® Duration® Designer shingle line.

To support selling in the home, Owens Corning offers contractors a variety of design tools and resources to elevate color, such as curated style boards and the Design EyeQ® Roof Visualization tool. As “America’s Most Recommended™” shingle manufacturer, the Owens Corning brand is highly trusted by homeowners and recently received the Women’s Choice Award for the ninth consecutive year.

A system approach to performance

The Owens Corning® Total Protection Roofing System®^ is on display at IRE 2026 to showcase its carefully engineered system of components that work together to deliver comfort, beauty and protection. The underlayment, ice and water barriers, shingles and ventilation work together to help a home’s roof seal, defend and breathe.

New to the portfolio, Owens Corning is introducing VentSure® RidgeProwler™ 30, a low-profile, easy-to-install rolled ridge vent that is designed to perform across all seasons. VentSure® RidgeProwler™ 30 rolled ridge vent is an integral component in the Owens Corning® Total Protection Roofing System®^ and supports a cool, dry and well-ventilated attic. The streamlined design is engineered with strength to deliver low buckling during installation.

For contractors in the Western U.S., Owens Corning is bringing back the premium Woodcrest® and Woodmoor® Shingle Collection. Both shingles are equipped with a 130-mph Wind Resistance Limited Warranty* and have been upgraded to a Class 4 Impact Rating4 with UL 2218. They also meet the highest fire resistance standards in the industry4. The textured cut of Woodcrest® Shingles offers a rugged, shake-inspired feel with rich color options that designed to outperform natural wood4. Woodmoor® Shingles, with added granules and layered detailing, feature an extra-thick, three-dimensional design that mimics hand-split shake and adds bolder texture.

IRE visitors can also learn about Owens Corning’s patented SureNail® Technology, exclusively available on Duration® Series Shingles. SureNail® Technology features a wide, highly visible engineered fabric strip in the nailing area for a consistent, quality installation, and the unique product design provides an outstanding gripping power. While there, visitors can put their skills to the test in a friendly SureNail® Grip Challenge for bragging rights and a spot on the leaderboard.

Other Owens Corning® shingles on display at IRE include Duration FLEX® and Duration STORM® Shingles with Class 4 Impact Resistance5. For synthetic and self-adhered underlayment products, RhinoRoof® U20 and Granulated products along with Titanium® FR, PSU30, UDL25, UDL30 and UDL50 will be showcased. There will be multiple walking ramps in the booth, allowing contractors to evaluate the walking surface of underlayment products.

Education to help contractors scale their businesses

Owens Corning recently launched virtual reality (VR) training exclusively designed for their Platinum and Preferred Contractors. The technology supports safety and convenience, as it allows contractors to elevate their skills and improve jobsite performance by learning in a distraction free environment using hands-on movements. Contractors can check out the Owens Corning University VR Training and experience the demo in the Owens Corning booth throughout IRE.

Fast-track Learning Lounge sessions presented by Owens Corning and select industry-leading experts to help contractors grow and scale their businesses. The 20-minute sessions presented in the Owens Corning booth range from AI quick-fire tips, to using color as a tool for amplifying value when selling a home, to leveraging big data and tips for enhancing the in-home sales process. A session presented in Spanish provides an overview of Pantera Pros, Owens Corning’s Latino Roofing Program.

As homeowners seek enhanced transparency in the home improvement process, Owens Corning is introducing a new sales technology partnership with Roof Scout. The virtual sales process technology is designed exclusively for Owens Corning Contractor Network members with the modern customer in mind. Utilizing an animated character – Scout – this engaging, online dealmaker can help transform in-person sales into round-the-clock e-commerce.

Remarking on Owens Corning’s presence at IRE 2026, Jeff Carpenter, Owens Corning Roofing vice president and general manager for Asphalt Roofing, said, “Serving contractors and homeowners is about more than manufacturing high-quality components and systems. At IRE, we are proud to showcase our full contractor offering, providing long-lasting, beautiful roofs and the resources and partnership that contractors need to grow their businesses.”
