NRCA recognized first ProCertified™ professionals at 2019 IRE

NRCA ProCertification Qualified Assessor

NRCA recognized the first ProCertified installers and ProCertified foreman at NRCA's Industry Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception during the 2019 International Roofing Expo® and NRCA's 132nd Annual Convention in Nashville, Tennesee.

NRCA ProCertification™, NRCA's national certification initiative, launched in 2018 to create a competent, sustainable and high-performing roofing industry workforce. Experienced installers and foremen who demonstrate substantial roofing skills and knowledge now can become certified by NRCA in specific roof system applications.

The following individuals were recognized:

  • ProCertified Asphalt Shingles Installer: Juan Segura, Raincoat Roofing Co., Broadview, Ill.
  • ProCertified Thermoplastic Systems Installer: Rhyan McKinney, Nations Roof, LLC, Villa Park, Ill.
  • ProCertified Roofing Foreman: Nick Zwart, Korellis Roofing, Hammond, Ind.
