Rustic style meets modern roofing technology with DECRA Tile.

In the Central Interior of British Columbia, Neville Log Homes is known for producing distinctive log homes. An architecture all its own, log homes offer a glimpse of times gone by yet incorporate some of today’s most progressive building technologies.

Neville has blended rustic style with modern technology, propelling them to the forefront of the log home building industry. One of the key elements for Neville when building homes is the roof. For their Canadian show home in Kamloops, British Columbia they wanted a product that could withstand the sometimes-harsh winters in British Columbia -  with a warranty to back it up.

“The decision to use DECRA Tile was made due to DECRA roof’s low maintenance and their warranty,” stated Terry Robinson, general manager in Canada for Neville Log Homes. “It is also metal, and with all the twists and turns of the houses we build, it is important to have an adaptable and quality product on the roof. The tile look also offers a very classy appearance that works well with the log architecture.”

Flexible, strong and stylish, DECRA Tile is made of corrosion-resistant, aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel. The Tile panels are freeze-thaw resistant, have a Class A fire rating for material, and a Class 4 hail resistance rating from Underwriter’s Laboratories. The attractive stone coated finish adds beauty and curb appeal. The end result is a superior roof supported by a Lifetime limited warranty, and a 120-mph wind warranty.

DECRA Tile was the perfect fit for the Neville show home. The package of beauty and strength has really delivered for Neville Log Homes. “It turned out gorgeous and looks really nice. In fact, a lot of people come to the show home, and even though we sell log homes, they come and ask about the roof,” Robinson finished.
