NAHB announces Best of IBS winners at International Builders’ Show

Awards were given to exhibitors with a product or line that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the winners of its 13th annual Best of IBS™ Awards during the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) in Orlando. The awards were presented during a ceremony held on the final day of the show.

This year’s Best of IBS Awards received more than 300 entries. Decided by a panel of 35 independent judges made up of industry and media representatives, the awards were given in nine categories, plus the overall Best in Show winner.

Awards were given to exhibitors with a product or line that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.

The winners are:

“This year’s Best of IBS applicants reflected an impressive level of innovation and real world problem solving,” said Paul Criner, vice president of Criner Remodeling and Best of IBS Awards judge. “What stood out most was how manufacturers are not just creating new products, but delivering smarter and more efficient building solutions that are for the evolving needs of builders and remodelers.”

“IBS 2026 brought new products that pushed the limits, challenged design and showcased the best innovations we have seen in the market,” said Adam Billingsley, president of Realistic Builders and Best of IBS Awards judge.

The panel of judges noted that the Best in Show winner, Muddskip Revolutionary Drywall Finishing Technology, represents a potential game-changing drywall mud additive that could upend the entire building industry for consumers, builders and tradespeople. The judges were very impressed with the re-hydration technology that allows for wet-on-wet application, which reduces the cycle times between coats and also completely removes the sanding step.
