In memoriam: Michael Ippoliti

Leap - In memoriam: Michael Ippoliti
July 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Michael "Mikey" Ippoliti, a beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home. While his passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of the many people whose lives he touched.

Michael was truly one of a kind. He had a larger-than-life personality and a presence that could light up any room. He was outgoing, warm and had an incredible ability to connect with people. Whether someone had known him for years or had just met him for the first time, Mikey had a way of making them feel like an old friend. He could befriend anyone and his unforgettable personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

His greatest gift was the way he made people feel. He brought laughter, energy, and genuine connection wherever he went. His memory will live on through the countless people who had the privilege of knowing him and through the stories and laughter they will continue to share.

Michael's life was a gift to all who knew him. His laughter, his kindness, his energy and his ability to make people feel welcome will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his mother, Georgette; his father, Russ; his brother, Russell; his sister-in-law, Sabrina and his grandmother, Catherine; and his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and coworkers, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Philip, Dolores and Russ Sr.

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Michael made will last a lifetime.  He will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
