In Memoriam: Chiko Sanchez

We are saddened to share the passing of Sinforoso “Chiko” “Chempo” Sanchez Jr., who passed away on September 30 at the age of 67.

Chiko was a longtime member of the Colorado roofing industry, working with Formula Roofing and Remodeling, where he took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Those who knew Chiko will remember him for his sense of humor, caring nature, willingness to help others, and, most importantly, his love for his family. Family and friends were at the center of his life, along with his love of music and plenty of laughter.

Our thoughts are with Chiko’s family, friends, his Formula Roofing and Remodeling family and all those in our roofing community who had the opportunity to know and work with him.

A visitation, sharing of memories and Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 16, at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Metro in Aurora.

Rest in peace, Chiko. You will be missed.
