GreenMantra’s Ceranovus wax modifiers are made from recycled plastics and are designed specifically for asphalt roofing applications. The waxes are valuable additions to SBS and modified bitumen roofing systems helping to reduce the mixing time necessary to achieve optimum polymer dispersion, improving heat stability and greatly improving the energy of deformation.

Manufacturing line performance tests demonstrate that Ceranovus waxes can:

• Improve the line speed and processing times
• In polymer modified applications, reduce mixing times by 30%
• Decrease viscosities at process temperature
• Reduce bleeding of higher oil formulations through oil scavenging
• Stabilize or increase softening point
