Fish for a Cause This Summer in Florida!

Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida is hosting their 44th annual fishing tournament in Islamorada, Florida and proceeds will go to charitable causes.  

If you are looking for some early summer fun, join RCASF June 9-11 for their 44th annual fishing tournament. This year’s tournament will be taking place in Islamorada, Florida, and the proceeds will be donated to three charitable non-profit organizations including: 

• Make-A-Wish Foundation 
• IGFA Junior Angler Foundation 
• RCASF 

Since 2007, over $1.3 million dollars has been raised for these causes through the RCASF fishing tournament. Last year’s tournament was a huge success as well, as 600 roofing professionals attended the tournament.  

Norm Wedderburn, CEO & President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Florida had this to say, "RCASF truly believes in our wish granting mission. RCASF has literally changed the lives of thousands of people; children and their families, who are affected by critical illnesses. We are very grateful to RCASF for their continued support." 

Tournament checklist 

1. Register for the tournament and take advantage of the early bird pricing before it expires on May 17, 2023 at midnight. Keep in mind that all participants must register for the event as either an angler or non-angler. 
2. Make sure to secure your accommodations at The Islander Resort and Bayside Villas. Due to limited availability, it is encouraged that you book your reservation as soon as possible. Please note that all room bookings must be accompanied by tournament registration, otherwise, they may be subject to cancellation. There are overflow rooms available at The Amora Cay.  
3. Don't forget to book your charter boat. When making your reservation, be sure to identify yourself as a participant in the event. It's important to note that all anglers are responsible for arranging their own charter or securing a boat for use in the tournament.

3. Sponsors are needed to put on this extraordinary event. 
4. Donate raffle / auction items!
