Discounts! Another Reason to Join Your Local or Regional Contractor Association

The Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association offers members in good standing a discount card which can save hundreds of dollars on goods and services.

At Roofers Coffee Shop, we love national, local and regional trade associations for many reasons which we wrote about in a recent blog post. But in addition to the potential they have to change the industry as a whole, these associations also have the ability to change your business in many ways.

Today we want to point out the Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) and their popular Member Discount Program. The Member Discount program is easy to use and is open to contractors and associate members as well.

In most cases, if contractors take advantage of the offers, they can more than cover the cost of their annual membership dues!

How it works is that every contractor company receives a Member Discount card that must be shown, at participating locations, to get discounts or special offers. Contractors can access the current list of participating vendors and specials in the FRSA website in the Member Login area.

What kind of discounts can a contractor expect? How about $100 off of a $1,000 purchase at a local building product supplier? There are free adhesive kits and installation classes, a free safety kit, discounts on roof inspection services and discount admission rates to local area family attractions.

The program benefits associate members as well, allowing them to promote their products or services to contractors and increase awareness. Each month, an offer is highlighted in Roofing Florida Magazine that is open for any member in good standing.
