Central States Manufacturing names Melissa Dunson vice president of sales and marketing

An industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience in building products, Dunson has worked closely with sales, operations, product management, customer experience and marketing teams.

Central States Inc., a leading provider of metal building components, roofing and building solutions, has named Melissa Dunson vice president of sales and marketing for the Central States Manufacturing business.

Dunson brings extensive leadership experience in customer engagement, commercial strategy, marketing, product management and sales enablement to the role. Since joining Central States in 2024, she has played an instrumental role in strengthening customer relationships, aligning sales and marketing initiatives and developing programs that help customers and sales teams succeed.

As vice president of sales and marketing, Dunson will lead Central States' sales organization, focusing on accelerating growth, enhancing the customer experience and delivering long-term value to customers across the company's markets, while continuing to provide leadership over the marketing and sales enablement functions of the business.
