Beacon Opens Nominations for Female Roofing Professional of the Year

Nominate your favorite female roofing professional and help them be recognized for all they have done in their careers and communities.  

The roofing community is a different type of family. It’s seeing value of work and communication above all else. Being a woman in the field isn’t always easy, but it is most definitely rewarding. Beacon Building Products Is hosting a North Amercian Competition to recognize female professionals int the roofing industry.  

Female Roofing Professional of the Year is an opportunity to showcase the best of the best in our roofing circle. Beacon encourages the industry, “to nominate a woman who has faced adversity or gone above and beyond for a customer, co-worker or her community — women that build by example.” 

Do you know an outstanding female roof installer? Maybe you know a woman in finance? Eligibility isn’t limited to women who perform hands-on work. Anyone can be nominated whether they work as an office manager, payroll officer or a contractor. The most important aspect is to just nominate a powerful female who exults the meaning of skillful, experienced and shows the dedication it takes to thrive in roofing.

The winner will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize in hopes of furthering their career in the industry. There will be a selection of four runners up who will also be awarded $1,000 each. The deadline is quickly approaching with the nomination period closing on April 10, 2023.
