I.M.O. Paying a Public Adjuster 10-15% of the total claim is just plain lazy and hedges on stupid......the drive by lawyers and many on here have contributed to the idea insurance company sole purpose is too rip HO's off. Nothing could be further from the truth. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day

Come on, you can be legit and damn humble when doing insurance work. Every local contractor out there wishes they could have one hit their area. The problem is dealing with the chasers and limiting their share of the pie.
"Insurance" work is still an ugly business....No matter how one sugar-coats it.....Not for the humble/legit, (for lack of words), types, that's for sure....
The real facts ,The Roofing industry is the culprit in the blue roof scheme.Unethical and Gouging the Feds out of millions of dollars for little work. Feds were paying an average $ 2500.00 to roofing contractors to tarp a standard small roof.. Goggle ....U.S. paying a premium to cover storm damaged-roofs. Living in a bubble is a refuge that exacts it price. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
But who is really responsible for these cost? The insurance industry is thats who, most dont view it as a bail out because they believe its thier goverment responding to a diaster! In reality its a bailout wich makes the politians look good.
Not what I mean. It is a " FACT." An example we might understand...... if you are out to sea in national water and the ship your on is wrecked stranded or starting to sink. The Coast Guard comes to the rescue and other Federal and local entities. You not getting off because they are Federaly funded by taxes? If I'm on the ship I will try to convince you to leave that's your choice. I leaving if it's me. Public Safety is the issue here. Blue tarping roofs after hurricanes is just one big goverment bail out of the insurance industry!Every policy states secure your property and we will reimburse you the cost"s of tarping. The insurance industry is making huge profits and whines like little kids when they have loss's even 2006 hurricane katrinas damages insurance companys experienced huge profits and this is well documented.
# 2 It's called subrogation. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
I can answer the first one. No, the insurance company is not. The agents before renewing H/O policy look at how old the roof is and makes a determination if it needs inspection. The inspections are preformed by State Licensed Roofing Contractors, licensed architect, engineers or contractors. If it is detriment the roof will not last another 5 yrs the H/O is informed the roof must be replaced or no H/O insurance. The others are opinion and conspiracy theory which knows how to ask provocative questions and no proof. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
