Help Support Charitable Projects Day

In our last meeting, Stephanie Baird spoke about National Women in Roofing Oregon’s upcoming community outreach project. National Roofing Week is June 7^th-13^th. Every year, on “Charitable Projects Day”, NWiR OR gets roofers, manufacturers and suppliers together to put on a new roof for someone in our community who is in desperate need. This year, NWiR OR is working with Catalyst NW who vetted the recipient of this new roof, and it’s going to be a big job! While only 25 squares, the roof has 4 layers of comp roofing and 1 layer of cedar shake, so of course it will need plywood and probably some other repairs as well.

Malarkey, SRS, Bliss, Sunnyside, CC&L & Superior have already offered donations, but more labor and materials are needed, and food/drinks & swag would make the day even better!

 *If possible. all material donations should be delivered to SRS directly to be kept on a pallet and brought out with the delivery.
