Learn how Brava Roof Tile connects remote installation oversight with Q1 2026 Spanish tile incentives to protect quality, driving contractor growth.

Installation quality is not defined at final inspection. It is defined in the moments when underlayments are fastened, flashings are set and critical transitions are sealed. For contractors installing Spanish Barrel Tile, those details directly affect performance, warranty protection and long-term reputation. Brava Roof Tile is positioning its Technical Services Integrations program as a way to protect that workmanship in real time while also supporting business growth tied to Spanish tile projects.

The integration program links the jobsite to Brava Technical Services from start to finish. Using the CompanyCam platform, crews document each phase of the installation through structured photo checklists, from pre-tear-off or dry-in through final inspection. Brava’s support team reviews those images in real time and provides technical guidance while work is still in progress. Instead of identifying problems after completion, the program verifies installation methods as they happen. The objective is to reduce errors before they escalate, protect warranty compliance and reinforce best practices on every Spanish tile project.

Participation begins with preparation. All crew members must complete Level 1 Installation Training before registering a project. Contractors must then confirm a start date within 45 days of registration, so Brava can coordinate support. Once connected, a Field Services Representative collaborates remotely while crews follow standardized checklists throughout the job. Upon completion, contractors may receive Level 2 Certification or confirmation of a Brava-supported installation.

That certification pathway connects directly to Brava’s Q1 2026 Spanish tile incentives. Contractors can earn a 10% rebate on Spanish Barrel Tile installed and registered through Brava’s warranty system during the first quarter. Rebates are based on completed warranty registrations and are paid 45 days after the quarter closes. Additionally, contractors who advance to Spanish Level II by completing Level II training requirements can earn a $1,000 marketing incentive to use toward Brava-approved marketing materials.

The offer is valid for Q1 2026 only and is subject to change or discontinuation at Brava’s discretion. Contractors interested in confirming eligibility or tracking progress are encouraged to contact their local Brava representative.

In practice, Brava is aligning technical oversight with financial incentives. Stronger installation processes support stronger margins, and disciplined execution in the field can translate into measurable growth in the market.

Learn how the event delivered strong networking, education and business opportunities for roofing professionals.

The Colorado Roofing Association (CRA) show reinforced its position as a cornerstone regional event, bringing together contractors, manufacturers and industry organizations for one of its largest gatherings to date. This year’s show was defined by record attendance, an expanded trade floor and a steady pace of meaningful connections that translated into real business opportunities.

That growth was immediately evident to attendees. The Coffee Shops™ (TCS) Multimedia Producer Zane Deluccie described the event as the biggest CRA show yet, emphasizing the value of reconnecting with industry partners such as TRA Snow & Sun and National Women in Roofing (NWIR). Even outdoor exhibits drew attention, with Rocket Equipment’s Trash Rocket standing out despite temperatures dropping below 40 degrees. Throughout the event, Zane noted, “We met plenty of great contractors who were interested in what we stood to offer. Our floor team talked to a number of existing clients and our booth wrangled a series of leads.”

The scale of the show also shaped the experience on the floor. TCS Podcast Producer Adam Cabrera said, “It turned out to be much larger than I expected going in. There were a ton of exhibitors and the show had great turn out.” With a large number of exhibitors spread across multiple warehouse spaces the layout created continuous foot traffic, giving the team opportunities to introduce TCS to new audiences while building interest among contractors who were previously unfamiliar with the platform.

For TCS Multimedia Manager Megan Ellsworth, the event’s momentum was most visible in both participation and energy. “It was the biggest year attendance wise that I've been to with about 2000 people in attendance,” as Megan described an environment that remained active from start to finish where she conducted interviews with companies including FlashCo, Brava Roof Tile, TRA Snow & Sun, Owens Corning® and GAF, along with organizations such as Duro-Last® and Latinos En Roofing. Her conversation with Amparo from Latinos En Roofing, attending for the first time, highlighted the growing influence of the Colorado market.

Megan also supported the NWIR Denver/Northern Colorado chapter booth, which saw steady traffic and new member signups throughout the event. Alongside well-attended educational sessions and upcoming programming, including a March 18 Lunch and Learn, the show reflected continued growth and opportunity across the Colorado roofing industry.

Stronger together: The partnership between IBS 2026 and KBIS 2026

Why bringing builders, roofers, designers and other construction professionals together at one show matters more than ever.

One of the most exciting parts of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)’s 2026 International Builders’ Show (IBS) is that it was hosted at the same time and place as the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS)! This made the show a uniquely powerful opportunity for contractors that wanted to get a full picture of how all parts of the construction world interact with each other!

To learn more about the benefits of working together with contractors across markets, we sat down with Kristina Hill, owner of HomeShield Roofing and Exteriors; Diana Barigas, co-owner of Property Master Solutions; and Amanda Gay, director of field training and engagement at Brava Roof Tile for a special Coffee Conversations® live from SRS Distribution’s garage on the expo floor!

Products

This year, the IBS expo floor covered 679,000 square feet with over 1,600 booths for attendees to explore. Add in the KBIS show, and those numbers jump to 2,250 exhibitors occupying 1.15 million square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits. With so many vendors across different markets, this was a great way for contractors to learn how products can be used in multiple ways. For example, Amanda shared what she had been seeing at the Brava booth, saying, “Obviously Brava products are great for roofing, but you can also use our tiles as siding and a lot of contractors are actually finding that these tiles are a great way to offer the aesthetic that homeowners want with more sustainability and lower maintenance.”

People

In addition to giving attendees the opportunity to explore products in a new light, this year’s show took networking to the next level. With nearly 117,000 registrants between IBS and KBIS, it was nearly impossible to not meet professionals in different markets than your own. This made it easier than ever to build the relationships needed to diversify offerings. Diana explained, “You’ll hear it everywhere, ‘we need to diversify.’ Diversification has become key to staying competitive these days and in Florida, a roofing license is different than a builder's license. So, this show is a great opportunity for roofers and other builders to meet up, partner up and work together to benefit both of their operations.”

Community

At the end of the day, this show created the type of community-focused space that is needed to push the entire industry forward. As Kristina put it, “Community is everything. For example, this winter, we had different vendors present on their products to our team and we opened that up to some other contractors and builders in the community. And yes, they are our competition in some ways, but we believe there's enough business for everybody and that we all do better when we lean into our community and learn from and with each other.”

Why BRAVA Roof Tile is dedicated to developing code-compliant roofing materials.

With extreme weather events becoming more and more common, the roofing industry constantly works to develop and meet standards that keep properties and the people within them safe and secure. For roofing manufacturers, meeting these requirements is essential to gaining market access while simultaneously protecting contractors, property owners, and the long-term performance of buildings.

BRAVA Roof Tile has prioritized creating durable, code-compliant roofing solutions, recently earning approvals across key regulatory bodies including Miami-Dade Product Control Division, the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and the International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES). These certifications demonstrate the company’s ability to meet rigorous performance standards in regions known for severe weather risks.

“Ultimately, code compliance protects contractors during installation and the homeowner in the investment they're making,” Thomas Knuckey, director of product management at BRAVA, told The Coffee Shops™. “If you're not code compliant, your material will not be sold or built. So, it’s extremely critical in the construction industry to have code compliance because that's your foot in the door.”

Thomas explained how the details and requirements of code compliance depend on location; structures in the west, for example, have seen increasing requirements for fire resistance while those on the southeast need to withstand high winds and heavy rainfall from storms and hurricanes.

According to Thomas, BRAVA designs its synthetic roofing systems with these challenges in mind. “We have Class 4 impact resistance. We have the ability to meet Class A fire resistance. We have the ability to achieve really high weather and wind performance,” he explained. “The code requirements and passing those approvals is how you prove it to the industry.”

To earn these certifications, BRAVA has invested heavily in internal research and development. Engineers test products and manufacturing processes to confirm they meet performance benchmarks before entering formal certification programs. “We have a materials lab internally where we’re constantly testing our process capabilities and materials,” Thomas stated. “Understanding the baseline material performance and extreme weather performance internally is the first step before moving out to those third parties to get the different declarations and certifications that we need. We're always making sure we're monitoring so that we know each product sent out the door is consistent with what that performance needs to be.”

Hands-on training meets real-world strategy at Brava Roof Tile's regional launch events.

At Brava Roof Tile, training isn’t just a box to check; it’s a strategic tool for contractor success. That commitment is no more apparent than in their regional launch events, where education, product familiarity and business development come together in just a few hours. Designed to elevate contractors and their teams towards success, these events are fast becoming a cornerstone of Brava’s training program. “Our launch events are where we're working with our stocking distributors and inviting all contractors from the entire area,” said Amanda Gay, product and program evangelist at Brava, during this episode of Roofing Road Trips®. The event format is intentionally compact but powerful: part sales training, part hands-on installation session and 100% focused on equipping contractors with the skills to win more jobs.

Attendees get a much more in-depth education than just a PowerPoint full of keywords and phrases. “We'll go through a sales training portion, answer all the questions,” Amanda explained. She emphasizes contractor input and adapts sessions based on the participants’ experience with synthetic tiles. Amanda states, “If anybody's already promoting it or they're quoting it, they're talking to homeowners. I really like to dive in deep.”

That level of engagement often yields immediate results. “The biggest feedback that I get is, ‘I wish I knew those selling points last week,’” Amanda said. Each event concludes with hands-on training, an essential element that ensures both sales reps and installers walk away with practical skills. “A sales rep should also know how to do installation,” Amanda noted. “It’s going to help them when it comes to the sale process. They can actually discuss the process with that homeowner.”

The events are more than instructional; they’re relational. Amanda encourages contractors to keep the conversation going. She shared, “We want to be the person that you call and say, ‘Hey, this is a great success story.’”

Brava’s commitment to in-person, grassroots training sets them apart in a marketplace often dominated by digital-only resources. And for contractors looking to sharpen their pitch and expand their offerings, these launch events offer something that no webinar can replace: real connection, real product and real confidence.

Proper installation is the frontline defense against roofing failure and this brand is raising the bar.

In the roofing world, flashy products often grab attention, but long-term performance comes down to one critical factor: installation. That’s where Brava Roof Tile is shifting the industry conversation. In this episode of Roofing Road Trips®, Karen Edwards sat down with Brian Davis, vice president of technical services at Brava Roof Tile, to discuss how proper training and certified contractors are central to the company’s high-performance reputation, especially in high-risk regions.

“You can have a great product, but if it’s not installed correctly, then it’s not going to meet any of the performance criteria and it will potentially fail at some point,” Brian said. To guard against that failure, Brava doesn’t just make roofing products, it builds a system around them. At the heart of this system is a rigorous contractor certification program designed to ensure each tile lives up to its promise.

Brava offers three contractor levels: authorized, preferred and craftsman, each requiring increasing levels of training and accountability. Level one is a self-paced online course. Level two involves real-time project oversight using CompanyCam. Level three, the craftsman level, requires a final inspection completed by technical services, and invites contractors to Brava’s Iowa manufacturing facility creating a partnership.

“My team also goes on site,” Brian said. “We’ll do training events nationwide and regionally. We will partner with our distribution partners and hold training events in person, so they get that hands-on training with our products.” This is more than a checkbox. Certified installers are the only ones eligible for Brava’s endurance warranty, which covers not just materials but also workmanship, a bold move in the roofing industry. And for coastal installations, the standards are even more exacting.

With severe weather on the rise and climate unpredictability becoming the norm, Brava’s commitment to certified installation could mark the difference between resilience and ruin. For contractors and homeowners alike, materials matter, but how they're installed matters more.

In the quiet evolution of synthetic roofing, the first change was not performance but perception.

This Roofing Road Trips® conversation opens with excitement, but it carries something older underneath it: the long suspicion that if a roof is synthetic, it must be pretending to be something it is not. Brava Roof Tile has spent nearly two decades undoing that assumption. Founded in 2008, the company entered a market where “synthetic” still sounded like a compromise. What it found instead was a chance to build a roof that remembers what real materials look like, improves how they behave and challenges long-held assumptions about synthetic roofing quality.

Thomas Knuckey, director of product management for Brava Roof Tile, describes his job as listening before acting. He talks with contractors about what fails in the field and what lasts longer than expected. Those conversations travel back to the extensive research, molds and formulas that went into creating the product. The goal is not to imitate cedar shake or quarried slate in outline only, but to copy the small details that make them believable, the grain of wood, the chisel marks in stone, the irregular edges that stop a roof from looking stamped.

“Rather than carving a manufactured tool where you’re taking bits and kind of carving away at it, you cast it around that real detail. So, it is a direct replica when you go to do that tooling,” shared Thomas.

What happens when weight, weather and fire are no longer the enemy of design?

Brava’s tiles are made through compression molding with recycled polymers, a process designed to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. That engineering shift changes how roofs are planned, especially on homes where structure once dictated material choices. Rather than forcing builders to reinforce framing to achieve a slate look, the material itself removes that barrier.

“Our product is about 300 pounds per square,” Thomas said. “If you're doing new construction, this doesn't require the additional support from your roof truss or your walls and the additional lumber cost and installation to meet those requirements because it is so lightweight.”

Performance follows the same logic. All Brava profiles carry Class 4 impact ratings, meet Class A fire system requirements and hold approvals for high wind regions, including Miami-Dade. In wildfire-prone areas, the synthetic tiles offer a way to preserve architectural style without accepting flammability as part of the package.

Color becomes another advantage of utilizing Brava. Through Brava’s ColorCast process, mineral pigments run through the entire tile instead of sitting on the surface. The roof keeps its tone over time and hides damage better when weather eventually leaves a mark. Variation is built in, so no two tiles land exactly the same and create a more natural appearance.

When the roof moves from weathering to endurance

Maintenance changes as much as the material itself, shifting from regular preservation to simple upkeep. Where traditional shake and slate demand routine care to preserve fire ratings and prevent deterioration, Brava’s system shifts that responsibility away from the homeowner. The tiles are designed to move with temperature changes instead of fracturing under them, returning to their installed shape rather than breaking apart.

“With Brava, you have to wash the debris off,” Knuckey said. “There is no maintenance on these roofs once they're installed.”

That reduced upkeep is paired with long-term backing. Brava’s tiles are covered by a 50-year limited lifetime warranty, reinforcing the idea that durability is not just a performance claim but a structural commitment.

In this evolution, Brava products shift roofing away from cycles of replacement and toward long-term performance. They preserve the look of traditional materials while delivering the durability and resilience modern buildings require.
