Jackson and Ford will be recognized at ABC Supply’s annual Founders’ Celebration this August at the company’s National Support Center in Beloit, Wisconsin.

ABC Supply Co., Inc., today announced Fran Jackson and Mike Ford as the 2026 recipients of the Ken Hendricks Award, the company’s highest honor, recognizing their values-driven leadership.

Jackson, managing partner of ABC Supply’s Malvern, Pennsylvania, location and Ford, Southwest Region operations manager, were nominated by their peers for the positive impact they have on their teams and for consistently leading in ways that reflect ABC Supply’s core values.

“What makes ABC Supply special are the people behind it,” said Mike Jost, president and chief operating officer at ABC Supply. “Fran and Mike bring out the best in those around them. They take the time to develop others, live our Core Values every day and leave a lasting impression on their teams and communities.”

Fran Jackson joined ABC Supply in 1994 as a district purchasing manager. He moved to Bradco in 1998, where he held inside sales and sales leadership roles, including commercial sales management. Jackson was promoted to assistant manager in 2006 and named branch manager of the Malvern, Pennsylvania, location in 2008. He returned to ABC Supply in 2010 through the company’s acquisition of Bradco. Jackson has earned several company recognitions, including:

He also supported regional growth by overseeing satellite locations in San Angelo, Odessa and Abilene. Today, he leads as Southwest Region operations manager. Highlights from Ford’s career at ABC Supply include:

• Named Manager of the Year in 1995
• Inducted into ABC Supply’s President’s Club in 1998
• Led the Midland branch to nine Center of the Year honors between 1993–2000 and 2011–2020, including Gold, Platinum and Diamond level distinctions

Low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide has promoted Nick Musel to territory manager - Mid-Atlantic. He joined the company in 2019 and most recently served as technical field manager.

In his new role, Musel is the company’s lead contact with customers in the territory, which includes Baltimore and Washington, D.C. His responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop the best solutions to meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.

Musel replaces Jim Lessig, who is retiring after four decades in the roofing and building products industries, including more than 30 years with MuleHide and ABC Supply.

Musel is a 24-year veteran of the roofing business, working primarily in the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia markets and focusing extensively on the technical side of roof installations. He joined MuleHide in 2019 as a technical field representative and was promoted to technical services administrator in 2022 and to technical field manager in 2024. He was named Tech Rep of the Year in 2022 and Associate of the Year in 2024 and won a Customer Service award in 2025.

“Jim has been an outstanding territory manager, and Nick is the perfect person to fill those big shoes,” said Mid-South Region Director John Pantesco. “He has been instrumental in providing clear, concise technical information to our contractors, our distributor partners and our associates. That expertise, along with his strong sales background and deep ties to the region, will be huge assets in his new role.”

Prior to joining MuleHide, Musel was a roofing and waterproofing consultant for Curtainwall Design and Consulting Inc., a technical service representative with Sika Sarnafil, a project inspector with Financial Realty Services LLC, a project inspector with W. Ivory Associates LLC and a service crew foreman with Pioneer Roofing.

He served in the United States Army for six years, reaching the rank of infantry sergeant.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Industry Leader of the Year, Associate of the Year and Golden Hammer Award winners honored at the 25th Annual NTRCA Rondi Perry Awards Banquet.

The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) – a regional association whose mission is to serve roofing professional members promoting ethical standards, insights, innovation and education – hosted its annual NTRCA Awards Banquet on February 28, 2026, at The Statler Hotel in Dallas, marking the 25th year of celebrating the North Texas roofing community. During the event, the association announced its 2026 Board of Directors and recognized this year’s award recipients.

The winners of the annual Industry Leader of the Year and Associate of the Year were announced and honored for their significant contributions to the North Texas roofing industry. Past award recipients meet annually to select each year’s new honorees, continuing a tradition of peer recognition and industry excellence.

The Industry Leader of the Year honor, the association's most prestigious recognition, was awarded to Tina Hall, chief executive officer of Joe Hall Roofing & Contracting. The Associate of the Year honor was awarded to Karen Ensley, partner with Ensley Benitez Law PC.

In a special tribute during the evening, several board members from 25 years ago, led by then-president Sandra McGlothlin of Empire Holdings, raised a toast to the late Rondi Perry, who established the Awards Banquet to recognize and celebrate excellence in the North Texas roofing industry.

Through the combined efforts of PABCO, Kitsap Roofing, ABC Supply and Pioneer Builders Supply Co., the Family Renewal Shelter was able to get a complete roof replacement at no cost to them.

Kitsap Roofing contractors recently partnered with PABCO Roofing Products to complete a full roof replacement for Family Renewal Shelter, a local domestic violence shelter. PABCO donated roofing materials for the project, while Kitsap Roofing donated all the labor, ensuring the shelter could remain functional without incurring major costs for what would otherwise be an expensive full-roof replacement.

Kitsap Roofing is a local roofing contractor, serving Kitsap County and parts of Pierce and Jefferson counties. The business was founded in 1977 and recently changed hands after the retirement of the founder, who passed the business to Zac and Megan Fain. Kitsap Roofing installs both residential and commercial roofs, as well as offering spot repairs, gutter installations and roof cleaning services. With decades of experience with residential roofing and PABCO shingle installation, they were happy to contribute their labor to the Family Renewal cause.

Family Renewal Shelter has served the Pierce County community since 1986 through confidential shelters and comprehensive support programs designed to protect and restore families affected by domestic violence. The organization prioritizes immediate safety by removing victims and their children from harm. The newly installed roof strengthens the shelter's infrastructure and helps maintain a secure, reliable environment for residents and staff. 

PABCO employees first visited the Family Renewal Shelter in 2024 as part of the Adopt a Family program, which helps distribute holiday gifts to families in need. While dropping off gifts, employees Brian Smith and Mel Barger immediately noticed the facility's failing roof and resolved to help them.

"Working in roofing, it is second nature for us to look up," Brian recalls. "It was clear the roof was struggling with heavy algae growth and shingles coming loose. When we went inside, the incredible staff welcomed us and apologized for the buckets placed around the building to catch active leaks. In that moment, both Mel and I knew we wanted to help. When we shared what we saw with PABCO leadership later that day, it took little to no convincing for everyone to agree that this was something we needed to do."

Luckily, PABCO leadership was happy to supply new shingles to the ailing shelter after hearing the situation from Brian and Mel; ABC Supply agreed to donate gutters and downspouts, and Pioneer Builders Supply Co. donated the other necessary materials. However, they would still need someone willing to install the roof; when it comes to roofing, oftentimes the majority of the final bill goes towards labor costs, so supplying materials for the job was only half the battle. When Kitsap Roofing, a local roofing contractor and long-time partner of PABCO, heard about the plan, they quickly agreed to handle the install.

"Kitsap Roofing is honored to support an organization that has been safeguarding families in our region for nearly four decades," said Zac Fain, owner of Kitsap Roofing. "As a local family-owned business, it's important to us to be able to support other local families, and providing our labor for this project was a great way to give back."

Through the combined efforts of PABCO, Kitsap Roofing, ABC Supply and Pioneer Builders Supply Co., the Family Renewal Shelter was able to get a complete roof replacement at no cost to them. The long-overdue roof replacement allows the shelter to provide more comfortable amenities to families in need; rather than waste time and energy on catching roof leaks, the staff at Family Renewal Shelter can now focus their full attention on providing safe, stable support where it's needed most.

Robert Winczner leads the Eastern Michigan territory, which includes metro Detroit. Brian McGrew manages the Easter New England territory, which includes eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine.

They are the company’s lead contacts with customers in their markets. Their responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop the best solutions to meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.

Robert Winczner

Winczner is an established veteran of eastern Michigan’s low-slope roofing industry, having worked there as a contractor and roof consultant. He comes to MuleHide from roof consulting firm Roofing Technology Associates, where he was a quality control specialist. Prior to that, he was a roofing inspector with commercial contractor JD Candler Roofing Company and a DC&I (design construction and inspection) field specialist with roof management firm Building Technology Associates Inc.

He has an associate’s degree from Henry Ford College in Dearborn.

Brian McGrew

McGrew had been an independent sales representative for Elevate in Georgia and Tennessee since late 2023. Prior to that, he spent 10 years on the distribution side of the industry, first with SRS Distribution branches in Colorado, eastern New England and Maryland and then with Atlanta-area branches of Heely-Brown Company, Cameron Ashley Building Products and Elite Roofing Supply, where he was a managing partner. He got his start in roofing with his father’s Atlanta-area company, Academy Roofing, where he worked his way through college as a door-to-door salesperson and ultimately became a senior business analyst.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in international business from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The North/East Roofing Contractors Association (NERCA) will be hosting their 98th annual Roofing Convention and Trade Show at the beginning of February! The show, which is sponsored by ABC Supply and QXO, will be held at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut from February 10 to February 12, 2026. This is an incredible opportunity for contractors and other roofing professionals to learn and grow together. 

The show not only features an exhibit hall (open Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) full of the newest technologies and solutions designed specifically for roofers, but also an extensive schedule of exciting events.  

Tuesday, February 10  

• Roofing Liability, Warranty Exposure and Contract Obligations: Kick off the day at 11 a.m. with this class all about liability in the roofing industry. This course is taught by C. Leanne Prybylski Esq. of Hendrick, Phillips, Salzman & Siegel, PC. 
• AI in the Trades: PM and PE Guide to Working Smarter – Workshop Overview: Taught by Carl Britton Jr. From Iron Thread Consulting, this 12 p.m. class will showcase how you can use AI to generate contract reviews, analyze project schedules and more!  
• NRCA Update on Current Roofing Industry Technical Issues: Hear directly from the National Roofing Contractor Association (NRCA)’s VP of Technical Services, Mark S. Graham, about the biggest technical issues in the industry. The class starts at 1 p.m. 
• Fleet Safety – Driving Toward Success: This class, which starts at 2 p.m., is presented by Hettrick, Cyr & Associates (HC&A) and explores the “evolving requirements and best practices for managing safe and compliant vehicle operations.” 
• Run It Like a Brand: The New Rules of Roofing Business Success: This two hour-long workshop (starting at 3 p.m.) is designed to help roofers simplify their operations, amplify their reputations and grow their businesses sustainably.  
• My Employees are Legal! Beware of the ICE Raid and Form I-9 Audit: Taught by Philip J. Siegel of Hendrick, Phillips, Salzman & Siegel, PC, this 4 p.m. class is all about protecting both your business and your employees in a constantly evolving landscape regarding immigration. 
• Welcome Reception: Close out your first day at the show with the much-anticipated Welcome Reception (the party kicks off at 5:30 p.m.). With complimentary beverages and appetizers, this is a great way to network and have fun with your colleagues and friends.  

Wednesday, February 11  

• Technical Issues in the Roofing Industry panel: Start day two bright and early with an 8 a.m. panel about the top issues facing the roofing industry in the new year. This panel will feature Mark Graham (NRCA), C. Leanne Prybylski Esq. (Hendrick, Phillips, Salzman and Siegel P.C.) and John Peck (NERCA president, PB Roofing CEO). 
• NERCA’s Annual Business Meeting and Brunch: Continue the day with the 10 a.m. NERCA meeting and brunch. This is a ticketed event ($60 per person) and features Lonnie Bedwell as a guest speaker. Lonnie is a “blind extreme-sports athlete, Navy veteran and National Geographic 2015 Adventurer of the Year,” as well as a construction professional from Indiana.  
• Happy Hour Reception: And as you explore the show floor (which opens at 11:30 a.m.), make sure to pause for some “complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and a light snack” at 3 p.m. 
• Latinos in Roofing Reception: Closing out the show is the Latinos in Roofing Reception, which will be hosted at 5:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for Hispanic contractors to chat with their peers in the roofing industry while enjoying light appetizers and complimentary beverages.
