United Asphalt Company is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Mid-Atlantic Territory (Maryland & Virginia).
Territory Sales Representative Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain relationships at the Contractor, Dealer, Distributor and Building Owner level
· Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers
· Work closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies
· Communicate with customers in a timely manner
· Sustain awareness of market pricing, product innovations, competitive product lines and market trends that may affect your market
· Provide the necessary literature, samples, technical data, and other advertising materials needed in the field
· Inspect projects for contractors and building owners to ensure the substrate is adequate for product success
· Provide product training showing proper technique to apply products
· Prior Outside Sales experience with strong track record of success
· Experience related to building materials and/or construction industry
· Professional verbal and written communication skills
· Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
· Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
· Computer proficiency
· Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
