Roofing Repair Technician Steep Slope 1 Roof LLC, a Florida General and Roofing Contractor servicing the Jacksonville and St Augustine areas, is looking for an experienced Steep Slope Roof Technician.

Starting Compensation range between $60,000.00 - $80,000,00 based on skills, references, and experience.
Valid US driver’s license that our company auto carrier insurance will accept and insure. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Must be able to Read and Communicate in English both written and verbal.
Have strong experience in asphalt shingle roof systems with 2 yrs. or greater experience in this industry.
Able to distinguish differences in colors of material in the construction industry.
Physical Requirements: Can lift 80 lbs at times. Able to safely handle a ladder and climb to and from work area when needed. Clear physical health requirements by company consulting physician within 60 days after employment and on an annual basis. Able to comply with drug policy and consent to random testing.
Minimum 2 Years of Installation and Repair:
· Steep slope roofing system like: cement or clay tile, slate, metal panel and shingle
Minimum 1 Year of Installation and Repair:
· Low Slope Roofing: built up, mod bit torch down and self-adhered, single ply tpo or pvc, coatings.
· Exterior and rough carpentry: framing, exterior waterproofing cladding systems I.e. moisture barriers, continuous cementitious fiber board (hardie), stucco (traditional and synthetic)
· Facia and soffit
· Masonry I.e. CMU or block wall and brick veneer.
· Concrete flat work
· Spray Foam (SPF)
Have a basic understanding of all the trades involved in maintaining a functioning livable home such as: HVAC, attic ventilation, condensation from poorly insulated piping and ducts, general supply and waste pipe plumbing, General low and high voltage supply and communication lines commonly found on the exterior of the home.
