The general scope of this position is to provide both general and specialized internal and external technical support for various types of support requests such as but not limited to review of reviewing construction documents, drawings, and plans, applications for warranty (NOA), warranty claims, inspection reports, request for information (RFI) for technical and specification documentation, product literature, product certification, code compliance, submittal packages, substitution packages and communication of IB policies, best practices/technical guidance related to products, installation and/or services and warranties. This position requires interaction using various communication mediums such as but not limited to; phone, video conferences, electronic and written correspondence, as well as in-person dialogue. This position requires frequent interaction with various types of interested parties such as but not limited to; contractors, general construction entities, design and engineering firms, consultants, IB internal and external personnel, building owners and property management entities. This position requires the person to be able to multi-task and handle varied tasks and projects throughout the business day while navigating a wide range of specialized demands and volumes. In all respects a positive, congenial and helpful attitude shall be displayed.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to IB Team members and IB customers.
Provide verbal and written correspondence for warranties, details, and assemblies within
and outside the specification manual.
Provide accurate, quick resource for IB response(s) to requests for general technical
assistance and resolution of field installation issues.
Review NOA warranty process and assist Warranty Administrator to bring projects to a
timely close.
Facilitate the Architectural/Substitution Submittal Program.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Technical Services.

Skills:
Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
Excellent composition of thought in an organized written technical structure is essential. Knowledge of the roofing and construction industry

Requires ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with high levels of urgency or sensitivity.
Physical Demands:
Ability to converse, read and write in English. Spanish is a plus but is not required.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Office 365, (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Salesforce, MS Teams (desired)
General knowledge on AutoCAD
Typing skills – 35 wpm
Travel:
Infrequent Travel (refer to travel policy)
Most work takes place at an IB Roof Systems location
