Roofing Photo of the Month July 2009:
Dangling Cinderblocks!

Our friend on the RCS Forum, House of Pain, posted this in late May. If you look closely the cinderblocks are tied to the edge of that roof and dangling. To the left are a few comments posted by the other forum members as to what they thought was the reason.
Thoughts from the RCS Forum Members:
Copperman: It's the code now. Keeps the eaves from blowing up in a high wind
Miscreant: Redneck windchimes? I imagine they'd sound better than my neighbor's new age unicorns fartin' rainbows windchimes
alan7596: Looks like they are trying to correct joists that have a nasty crown in them.
egg: Those were the blocks that were caught trying to sneak off? Practical joke on the masons? They put a new one up each time some bricklayer gets fired?
wywoody: I think he does it to convince the nieghbors that he has the ability to levitate objects. If any of them complain about the never-finished project he has going, he has them convinced that they too will be floating in the air under his eaves.
DR. ROOF: They are just being prepared in case of a random chupacabra attack.
