Editor Note: We accept advertising for many interesting products. We asked EagleView to give us more insight into aerial measuring.
Within two years since its introduction, remote aerial measuring technology has since become an integral part of the roofing and insurance adjusting industries. EagleView Technologies pioneered this landscape with their state-of-the-art aerial measurement system and has not stood still since.
Now with over ten thousand customers and the sixth generation of software their report accuracy has improved to over 98%. EagleView continues to improve their service by adding enhancements such as order summaries, waste calculations, rake, eve and starter measurements in addition to the highest resolution images and diagrams. Roofing contractors who use aerial roof measurements find this technology has changed the way they prepare estimates and produces a quicker more accurate alternative to traditional methods.
Saving time and costs. Matt Miller, CEO of Acumen Contracting Group says, "Working with EagleView over the last six months has been the greatest investment our company has made. The amount of money we save by not having overages on our materials and labor, as well as the amount of time we save by not having to measure each and every roof, have been remarkable. We've been able to build more than 500 roofs in three states by utilizing the EagleView services. I certainly have no problem recommending them to other contractors who are looking to streamline their operations."
Changing the way roofers sell.1 Not only do remote measurements save time, this technology is changing the way roofing companies sell to consumers. Roofers who use EagleView reports have found increased close ratios and additional closings per month.Mark Freeman, President of AJC Roofing says, "I would like to say how well your product helps our company... it helps us order material more accurate which helps with a more productive roofing job and helps save cost. This is a great tool."
Eliminates risk and improves safety. In the past, traditional measurements, only available by hand measuring, were time consuming and labor intensive, not to mention dangerous. Now roofs can easily be measured without the risk of accidents. "With our technology, we remotely measure roofs in the worst weather conditions imaginable so you don't have to" says EagleView CEO Chris Barrow.
How EagleView works. Simply input an address on the EagleView website. The site location is then identified and high resolution images are verified and reviewed for accuracy. With state-of-the-art software and aerial imagery, EagleView calculates the roof measurements including photos, 3D and technical drawings with ridges, valleys, rakes, eaves and total length measurements. Pitch measurements, a unique feature of the EagleView's services, are then added for all slopes using their proprietary software. This information is then sent to you in personalized report. Each report is then reviewed and verified by a five step quality check to ensure the report's accuracy. "Our system is so accurate, we'll guarantee it... if our premium reports are off by more than 4%, your report is free." Barrow says.
