As someone who has exhibited at many roofing shows, I realize how tiring it can get answering 400 questions from drunken roofers who you know have no interest in buying what you are selling.
But, I was there at the first hour of the show yesterday so being tired should be no excuse. We all noticed that more thn half of the booth attendants just wanted to do the minimum and have us go away. We were not tire kickers, we were there to make buying decisions right now, yet the attendants seemed to think we were in their way.
I did notice, as you might expect, that the booths manned by owners f te business, hadinterest in us. The larger companies didn't want to have their conversations with fellow booth attendants interrupted with our questions. How dare we bother them with our attempts to spend money.
One very large company couldn't even get their scanner to work to take our info. After about 15 minutes I gave up and returned later. It shouldn't be that hard to spend money in this economy.www.adamsrooftech.com
