When they cap donations at 10% NET income, it sure doesn't leave much room for corporations, unless you just say WTF and go with paying $1.45 for every $1.00 you donate. It's very frustrating.

Personal is higher, but still phases out around 30%, depending upon the indescribably complicated clusterfluck that is our national tax code.

What we do here is between me, my employees, and God, but this is a start:

I have very little tolerance for charity to people that refuse to help themselves. I had no comprehension for what our welfare society had created until we took a 16 yr old boy into the house for a year. Have continued to help him over the past 3 years, but I am starting to believe that the mentality of being "owed" something will never change.

I despise the tax system, the politicians that play class warfare, and the welfare state for anyone other than the physically and mentally disabled. (generally speaking)

Far more important than the number of people you know while you are here is the number of people that will miss you when you are gone

Speaking of taxes the word 'Dhimmitude" is found in the new health care bill; so what does it mean? Thought this was interesting and worth passing on.
Dhimmitude -- What does it mean?
Obama used it in the health care bill.
Now isn't this interesting?
It is used in the health care law.
Dhimmitude -- I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page
107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists.. It is a REAL word.
Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the
TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to
Islam.
ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically
exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam
considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted
exemption based on this.
How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate,
cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty
tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto
government insurance.
Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

Well if I ever get to be Pres, I'll make some changes;

Welfare will have at least one slight change. Others may follow.
Anybody may 'need' the system to get back on their feet. Anybody. The change would have to do with offspring. Foodstamps will still be in effect. So will the pay. (It maight be cut too.) The take will be based on one child. One. Get any more, just stretch your budget! HAving more may even cause a cut in the 'take'. ALL applicants will be undergo random drug testing, folicle, of course. If some Doc can't prove a false positive is due to some med he's prescribing, Bye!
Any released felons will be injected with a florescent 'Glow' in the dark dye, color coded to certain offenses. Any time it looks like we have too many, we' have 'seasons' when they can be harvested. You won't even need a big game tag. Just call in the location so they can be picked up. Specific details still need to be hammered out.
Everybody will serve time in the service.

Gun control will be considered "All 5 in the 'X' ring".
Heaven help any city, country, territory I suspect of harboring terrorists! They can turn them over in a set time or xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx! The helpers will suffer terribly. I'm not going to be PC.

dhimmitude: is that anything like the Amish in Ohio who don't have to have Work Comp to run their businesses?
I could prolly find hundreds of others of special laws, exemptions and treatment.

Tinner, if I could add to your welfare list. It must stop at one generation. Daughters cannot pick up the boyfriend in daddy's car, run it into the ground, make her work and leave her pregnant at the bus stop while he is getting a ride from another daddy's daughter. Castration is the rule for him, and tubes tied for her.
Maybe uterus removal.
Hell, we could dropped the population rate, reduce the rage and reduction in taxes dollars needed.

AC's will be removed from vehicles. No more LA smog from people sitting in traffic on 95+ degree days idling along and texting in comfort. Fuel consumption will also drop because long uncomfortable commutes will cease as people move closer to the work.

All offfice building will have their temp setting rasied. Currently, office and Gov. building have temps set real low so pols can sit in comfort wearing suit coats. I mean WTH????? Less fuel consumption there too.

Those pukes will sure look distinquished sitting in a hot room in a coat and sweating buckets and their clothing all soggy from the sweat as they sit there looking important.

The title 'lawmaker' will be removed from all gov. positions. Who needs more laws???? Those idiots think the position and title means they have to shove thousands of new laws down our throats every year! At every level too! Towns! Cities! Counties! States! The USA!!!! WTH!!!!
