SPF lends itself to a variety of applications on commercial and residential buildings, specifically on flat roof industrial, office, retail, medical office and wine tanks. Applied in liquid form on flat roof buildings, SPF expands approximately 30 times its original volume and cures in a short amount of time after application. A layer of elastomeric coating is applied that gives it a durable weather resistant, sun reflective surface. The result is a seamless weather tight membrane that is long lasting and lightweight. Benefits include waterproofing and leak prevention, strong insulation performance, superior compressive strength, and durability. Additionally, using SPF roof systems may contribute points toward LEED certification.
