North Texas Roofing Contractors Association Announces Award Winners and New Board of Directors
Fort Worth, TX - March 12, 2009 - The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), a regional association for residential and commercial roofing contractors who maintain the highest industry standards, is excited to announce their new board of directors and the winners of two prestigious awards honoring those who have made significant contributions to the local roofing industry.
During this year's NTRCA Gala and Awards Banquet, winners for the "Associate of the Year" and "Industry Leader" were recognized for their significant contributions to NTRCA, the local roofing industry and exceptional client service. Past winners meet annually to choose the latest honorees.
This year's "Associate of the Year" is Joel Lewallan of Johns Manville. The "Industry Leader" honor, the association's most prestigious recognition, was awarded to Steve Patterson of RoofTech.
Additionally, a special presentation highlighted The Women's Center roofing project. NTRCA adopted The Women's Center (TWC) as a philanthropy project in 2008 and raised over $45,000 to help provide a roof for TWC's new headquarters, which just recently opened. Supreme Roofing Systems was the lead roofing contractor on this project and undertook the project as part of their community service. They worked with other organizations to get materials donated for the roof. Contributors were Bradco Roofing Supply, Empire Disposal, Empire Roofing, Firestone/C-CAP, Hutner Panels, Mid-South Lumber, Olympic Fasteners, Triangle Fasteners, US Ply, Inc.
NTRCA officers and board members for 2009 were also announced during the Gala and Awards Banquet.
