Nations Roof is upgrading an existing building for the San Diego Regional Airport which involves retrofitting an old metal warehouse style building to accommodate new energy efficient offices as San Diego Regional Airport. The existing roof system is an old metal roof that will be upgraded with new insulation, fireproofing and an new energy efficient Carlisle TPO Cool Roof. The new roof system is expected to cut the buildings carbon footprint by 50% from savings of their heating and cooling. Nations Roof will be demonstrating a solar generator to power their tools and equipment while working on the project. The solar generator is being provided from Solar Rover to demonstrate how a true energy efficient project should be run.
