Winter Park, Fla. - Dave Cumming, of Camp-Rigby Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. in Cape Coral, Fla. assumed the position of President of the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRSA) during the association's 87th Annual Convention held at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, FL.

The Bob Campanella Award, FRSA's highest recognition for exceptional service to both the association and the industry, was awarded to Billy Cone, owner of Rooftech Roofing and Sheet Metal, Ft. Lauderdale.

In addition, FRSA recognized these individuals with the following awards:

• President's Award - Trent Cotney, Glenn, Rasmussen, Fogarty & Hooker, Pa., Tampa
• Charlie Raymond Membership Award - Jim Brauner, Roofing Equipment of FL., Orlando,
• Bieler Family "Enthusiasm Gets It Done Award" - Bruce Manson, Manson Roofing, Inc., Bradenton
• Earl Blank "Heart" Award - Manny Oyola, Eagle Roofing Products, Boca Raton.

During the convention, a total of $11,000 in scholarships was awarded to six students.

A little over 2,000 people attended the FRSA Southeast Roofing and Sheet Metal Spectacular trade show held in conjunction with the convention at the Orange County Convention Center.

FRSA is an 87-year-old trade association consisting of over 750 members. Its main purpose is to foster ethical business practices, protect consumer interests and promote the industries it represents.
