DaVinci Roofscapes Introduces New Bellaforte Roofing Tiles at 2009 International Roofing Expo

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -Jan. 30, 2009 -  DaVinci Roofscapes(R), the leader in synthetic roofing tiles, will introduce the new Bellaforte(TM) slate product line at the 2009 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas on February 3 - 5, 2009 in booth #1457. The new synthetic tiles incorporate several patented features, are interlocking, overlapping and self-locating, and will be available in a 12-inch slate profile. The patented Bellaforte roofing tiles use a third less material than traditional synthetic and natural slate shingles. They simplify installation speed and lower the overall cost for roofing contractors and homeowners. Demonstrations will take place in the DaVinci booth showcasing the simplicity of installation of the new Bellaforte roofing tiles.

DaVinci will also showcase its new Fancy Shake roofing tiles at the show. Offering a machine-sawn cedar look, Fancy Shake products provide a more refined appearance on homes than a traditional hand-split cedar shake. The pristine shake has a clean, smooth look on both sides and is available in four unique color blends Another popular DaVinci product, DaVinci Shake roofing tiles, will be showcased in the company's booth.  Introduced in 2005, DaVinci Shake roofing tiles offer the authentic beauty of natural wood shake shingles. A 5/8-inch profile and deep-grained surface reflect the natural textures in rough-hewn cedar and provide a deep shadow line. DaVinci Shake is offered in five color blends and features widths of 4-, 6-, 7-, 8- and 9-inches. Combined with the mix of straight and wavy profiles, this creates a non-repeating appearance to capture the realistic beauty of natural wood shake.

DaVinci's original product line, DaVinci Slate roofing tiles, will be on exhibit at the show. Modeled from actual slate and hand finished to add a craftsman's touch, each tile features a classically coarse surface and naturally rough edges that imitate slate's intrinsic imperfections. Each roofing tile is a half-inch thick, twice the thickness of most other synthetic slate products. DaVinci Slate roofing tiles are available in two popular solid colors and nine exclusive blends that reproduce the classic look of a hand-sorted natural slate roof.

DaVinci Slate is offered in a standard mix of five individually molded tiles in widths of 6-, 7- 9-, 10- and 12-inches. This provides a non-repeating, natural appearance that eliminates the "man-made" look found in other synthetic products.
