HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - CETCO announces that Miami-Dade County has issued a notice of acceptance for StrongSeal SA and StrongSeal DB roofing underlayment.StrongSeal(R) has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code, including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code. It is approved for mechanically fastened metal roofing, wood shakes & shingles, asphalt shingles, slate or simulated slate.
StrongSeal is a performance underlayment, available in both nail-down (StrongSeal DB) and self adhering (StrongSeal SA), derived from recycled tire crumb and is asphalt free - providing underlayment longevity to match long life cycle roof covering. As an elastomeric alloy its robust durability resists wind tearing, rain absorption and sun degradation. The thick rubber membrane promotes walkability, addressing safety concerns. Sustainability is achieved with the highest recycled content perfect for LEED projects. Assurity is provided through a 20-year warranty.
