Allied Building Products Corp. Appoints New CEO and New Executive Members
Chief Operating Officer Bob Feury, Jr. Tapped to Succeed Michael Lynch
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - January 13, 2009 - Allied Building Products Corp., a subsidiary of Oldcastle, Inc., the North American arm of CRH plc, and one of America's largest distributors of residential and commercial roofing, siding, waterproofing and interior products, today announced Bob Feury, Jr. as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Michael Lynch.
Feury, Jr., who since 2000 has served as Allied Building Products' chief operating officer, has taken over for Lynch effective Jan. 1, 2009. Lynch, who served as chief executive officer for the past eight years, will continue his involvement in the company as executive chairman. The role of chief operating officer will be replaced by two new division presidents; Donald Toth, president of exterior products and Ron Pilla, president of interior products. Bob Feury, Sr. will continue his role as general advisor and strategist with the new title of president emeritus.

Feury has recently appointed six new executives to various positions in the company.
The new appointments are as follows:
- Donald Toth, of Smithtown, NY, has been named president of the exterior products division. Toth most recently served as vice president of the northeast region and has held leadership roles in sales and branch and regional management during his 24-year career with the company. In this role, Toth is responsible for the management of all aspects of Allied Building Products' roofing, siding, window and waterproofing distribution business including sales, operations, purchasing and finance.
- Ron Pilla, of Chester, NJ, has been named president of the interior products division. Pilla most recently served as vice president of interior products and has held leadership roles in marketing and product and regional management during his 18-year career with the company. In this role, Pilla is responsible for the management, sales, operations, purchasing and finance for all aspects of Allied Building Products' interior products companies including its Acoustical Material Supply (AMS) branches.
- Greg Bloom, of Mill Creek, WA, has been named executive vice president of the exterior products division. In this role, Greg will continue to oversee the West Region with the addition of the Midwest Region.
- John McLaughlin, of Basking Ridge, NJ, has been named vice president of the Northeast Region for the exterior products division.
- Allen Baldree, of Vero Beach, FL, has been named vice president of the exterior products division covering the newly created Southeast region including Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. Baldree joined Allied Building Products Corp. in 2001 following the acquisition of his company, Southeast Wholesale.
- Ruben Mendoza, of Newport Beach, CA, has been named vice president of interior products division west. In this role, Mendoza will be responsible for the oversight of western operations including Gypsum Products in Colorado, Builders Gypsum in Texas and the Hawaiian Island locations. He formerly served as chief executive officer of Acoustical Material Supply (AMS) prior to joining Allied Building Products Corp. through its acquisition in November 2007.
